Let your dog socialize with other dogs, burn off extra energy and be looked after when you are gone for the day. Stop feeling guilty and reward your dog with a day of fun at Groomingdale's Playcare. And it sure would be nice not to come home to a hyper dog, a torn-up couch, or a mess on your floor. We offer a safe and fun environment for your dog that includes socialization, supervision, treats, toys, pet cots, playground equipment and even a television. We believe that it is important for the health and development of your dog to socialize with other dogs. Here at Groomingdale's Playcare, your dog will socialize with up to 20 other dogs as well as a full time attendant. Your dog will have a chance to play, climb, chase a ball, play tug-o-war, run around, or catch a snooze. Our 1000 square foot Playcare area is spacious and clean, with great play ground equipment and even couches for your dog. We have pet cots that are sanitary and evenly distribute your dog's weight for ultimate comfort and support. They are especially beneficial for arthritic and geriatric dogs. Your pet will get outside bathroom breaks as needed throughout the day. While yout pet is here, let us brush out your dog, brush its teeth, clean its ears, and clip its nails for you at a reasonable cost. All dogs are behaviorally screened before enrolling in Playcare. We will need proof of current vaccination records (Bordetella, DHLPP & Rabies), and all Playcare pets must be spayed or neutered before attending. You can either bring your dog's records with you to the screening, or have your vet fax them to (314) 781-8918 prior to your arrival. Please call and make your dog an appointment for screening at least one day in advance. For insurance liability reasons, no Pit-bulls will be accepted. Your dog will thank you, and you will thank yourself after your dog spends the day with us at Groomingdale's Playcare!
